We will continue to maintain a selection of only the finest saddles in beautiful condition along with fast response and personal service. While we do not offer new custom ordered Hennigs, we frequently receive Hennigs in new condition. Why do people sell their new Hennigs? The most common reason is because they did not have the opportunity to take advantage of "ride before you buy". Ordering a brand new custom saddle is in no way a guarantee that you will like the fit once you finally receive the saddle. Is your horse sore backed? Spooky? Sensitive to groom? If you are seeing any of these behaviors in your horses: Irritability, cranky about being brushed, anxiety at shows or new situations, described as "thin skinned", spooky, defensive behavior, random bucking, rearing, doesn't want to be touched on certain areas of the back. These are classic signs of magnesium deficiency.
Many horses do not get enough magnesium through their diet and, therefore, magnesium supplementation is necessary. However, the form of magnesium in these supplements can vary. Magnesium ions bound to one or more amino acids are known as chelated magnesium, or magnesium chelate amino acids. Chelated magnesium allows the magnesium to enter the intestinal wall through the amino acid pathway rather than through the diffusion process. This makes chelated magnesium highly absorbable.
